Tiny Tim Personalized

This is a poor picture of a lovely shawl. My friend Vicki of Simple Knits created the pattern and it is for sale on her website. I love this leaf pattern it is very open and rounded. I plan on doing this one again. Maybe in silk with beads.

Right now I'm ready to cast on for the Tangled Yoke cardigan. I'm treating myself because I finished socks for my uncle in two weeks- socks on 0 dps- 80 stitch socks! This is a personal record!

I made said socks because I had asked my uncle to paint a berry motif on my Tiny Tim and I knew I would see him this weekend and I knew he'd have it done.

Thank you all for the good wishes. I have decided to stop feeling sorry and make lemonade. We have great help and he wants to do well. I really can't ask for more!

Oh! It's so beautiful! I'm on my second Cascading Leaves shawl. It should be finished very soon. I hope everything works out well for your son. Knowing the problem is half the battle. Hugs, Vicki

I wanted you to know that when I visited you, I saw all the love and care that was being poured into your children. You and your family are trying so hard, and that is really important! It's ok to say so, too, when things get rough...this sort of thing is hard!

I love the berries. They look great, and the socks sound like an act of love. Thanks too for your nice blog note to me...I hope that this time, the stealth knitting gets published. It's been a while!

The berries are the perfect adornment for your Tiny Tim! That was inspired. I bet your uncle loves his socks. Lovely work on the shawl, it's beautiful.

Your decision to make lemonade is awesome, and I really admire you for that, amongst other things.

Beautiful berries! What a nice embellishment for a simple wheel. There are about 75 people on Ravelry doing Tangled Yoke, I hope I get to start before they all finish! I hope the school year goes well for you all.

Wow, Tiny Tim looks great. My mom used to do that kind of painting and I would love for her to customize my Little Gem II, but she no longer has the time.
